We are pleased to confirm that the AI - Steering group - Inaugural Meeting will take place at the school on Tuesday 7th July 2026 from 3.30pm to 4.30pm. 

We are continuing to take forward the School’s work on Artificial Intelligence, following the parent Round Table held in March. We are very grateful to the twenty or so parents who attended that discussion. Their insights were invaluable and have provided a strong critical basis from which to galvanise our own thinking as a school.

The conversation helped us to reflect more seriously on both the opportunities and the risks presented by AI, and on the importance of ensuring that our response is principled, proportionate and educationally serious.

A draft working policy on AI is now in place and will be reviewed by the AI Steering Group. This group will consider how AI may be used appropriately across school life, including teaching and learning, assessment, administration, safeguarding, academic integrity and pupil formation.

The Steering Group will have its inaugural meeting on 7 July 2026 at 3.30pm. Please register to this event to confirm your attendance.
